West Paw's Natural Dental Sticks are textured dog chews made with ingredients including potato flour, upcycled apple, parsley and mint. The ridged shape is designed to provide mechanical contact with the teeth while dogs chew, and parsley and mint are included for fresher breath.

The Small Dental Stick is also designed to fit inside West Paw's Small Qwizl treat toy, giving dogs another way to work their way through the chew.

They're made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients and contain no added sugar, gluten, grain, soy, artificial flavors or artificial preservatives.

Why We Put It in the Cart

We're interested in these because they're a little different from a standard dog treat. They're specifically designed as a textured dental chew and can also be paired with West Paw's Qwizl toy.

We especially like seeing upcycled apple in the formula, which gives an ingredient that might otherwise become food waste another use.

That said, we're not just taking the dental claims at face value. We're putting these through our review to see how our dogs actually chew them, how long they last and whether pairing them with the Qwizl makes a meaningful difference.

Feeding Guidelines

Feed as a snack or reward. This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only.

Treats should account for no more than 10% of your dog's daily calorie intake.

Supervise your dog while chewing and make sure your dog breaks the chew into appropriately sized pieces before swallowing.
