The Poppy Sleep Shirt is made from 100% cotton with a traditional block-printed floral design created by artisans in India. Contrasting piping gives it that classic pajama look, while the relaxed cut and three-quarter sleeves make it roomy enough for sleeping, lounging, or drinking coffee around the house well past the point when you should probably get dressed.

This version uses a thicker cotton and adds three inches in length compared with Flying Sheep Country’s original sleep shirt style. At 40 inches long, it offers a little more coverage without turning into a full-length nightgown.

Flying Sheep Country is a small family business founded by sisters Hilary and Justine Maitland. Inspired by their British roots and a love of traditional textiles, the sisters work with artisans in India to create block-printed pieces that bring old-world craftsmanship into colorful, useful pieces for everyday life. The collection includes sleepwear, table linens, and home goods with an emphasis on natural cotton fabrics, traditional printing techniques, and designs that feel distinctive rather than mass-produced.
