The Tomato for People Who Think Tomatoes Should Taste Like Something
Red Brandywine is a classic heirloom known for big, meaty tomatoes and that rich, old-fashioned tomato flavor that's increasingly hard to find at the grocery store. Fruits can reach 1-2 pounds with a deep pinkish-red color and beefsteak-style texture that's made for slicing.
This is an indeterminate variety, meaning the vines continue growing and producing throughout the season rather than giving you one concentrated harvest. Give them plenty of sun, sturdy support and some room. Vines can reach 6-8 feet.

Harden off seedlings before transplanting outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Space plants 24-36 inches apart and provide a sturdy cage or stake to support the vines.

About Seed Therapy
Formerly Southern Seeds, Seed Therapy was founded by Ryan and Kim Dorn in 2019, building on more than 50 years of family experience with farming, growing and seeds. Today, it's a multi-generational family business offering more than 800 seed varieties.
We especially like their commitment to American-grown seeds and sourcing transparency. They work with trusted U.S. farms, disclose when a variety isn't grown domestically and have donated millions of seeds to schools, community gardens, churches and communities affected by natural disasters.
