MamaSuds Toilet Bomb Cleaning Tabs keep things refreshingly simple. Drop one into the toilet, let it fizz, give the bowl a scrub, and flush. The formula uses just a handful of recognizable ingredients, with essential oils of peppermint, lemon, and tea tree for a light, fresh scent without synthetic fragrance.

The ingredient list is short enough to actually understand, and MamaSuds tells you what they're leaving out, too. No bleach, synthetic fragrance, dyes, sulfates, phthalates, parabens, or PVA/PVOH.

We're putting these to work in our own bathrooms to see how they perform in real life before deciding if they earn a permanent spot in the 4RYL Certified collection.

Ingredients

Sodium bicarbonate, non-GMO citric acid (made from cassava root), pure essential oils of organic peppermint, lemon, and tea tree.

How to Use

Drop one tab into the toilet bowl, let it fizz, scrub, and flush.

MamaSuds notes that homes with hard water may see less fizz, but the tabs can still be used normally.

A Little About MamaSuds

MamaSuds was founded by Michelle C. Smith, a mom who started making her own soap after becoming frustrated with the ingredients in conventional household products. Today, MamaSuds makes household cleaners and soaps in small batches in Goodrich, Michigan, with a strong emphasis on ingredient transparency and sourcing.

The company says it looks for U.S.-made ingredients first when possible, while also considering factors such as how ingredients are grown and produced. MamaSuds also prioritizes organic, non-GMO, vegan, kosher, and NSF options where appropriate, and requires its suppliers not to test on animals.

Packaging + Sustainability

The Toilet Bombs come in plastic-free, refillable packaging. MamaSuds also sells "Misfit" Toilet Bombs made from tabs that don't meet their appearance standards, helping reduce waste from small-batch production.
